Story
An intimate look at love through the eyes of a neighbor dealing with a paraplegic fiancé and the human emotional turmoil that causes her to act in the form of sabotage. The film will be shot mainly from a POV of an onlooker. It will be subtle, so only savvy audiences will notice this. We follow Lucee (a young French woman who recently moved to America) and Mark, a couple madly in love, as they spend their night. The film’s ending reveals a plot twist in which the neighbor is identified as the onlooker. Her fiancé has recently become a paraplegic. She sabotages the happy couple’s relationship in jealousy to cope with her new reality. She feels the cards she’s been dealt are unfair.
